In 2022, My Way or His Way…

Happy New Year, Everyone!!! Yes, I’m back again. I intend and will try to do better this year. I’m excited for the new year. It is always a good time to reset and start afresh, and it is time for me to renew my commitments and plans. I was able to do my year in review for the first time. Starting from January 2021 to December 2021, I was able to see my accomplishments and shortcomings. I acknowledged all my struggles and evaluated how I overcame them. In 2021, I realized that I was stronger than I thought I was.

Well, 2022, I asked myself how I would do it. Will I do it the way I did it last year, or will I do it differently? Am I going to do my way or God’s way? This is a difficult question but also an easy question. The easy answer is yes, I will do it in God’s way, but the problematic answer is that doing it His way means that I have to yield. That I am not in control of anything or in control of everything. I realized that I am in control of my reactions. I am in control of my thoughts. I have decided to focus my thoughts on God. To be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger, and quick to forgive.

So what will it be? Your Way or God’s way!!! Set the tone for the rest of the year.
